'Scuse Me While I Kiss This Guy 2002 Day-To-Day Calendar Details
Frequently find yourself completely confused by the words to the songs you hear? Have you ever wondered why Guns N'Roses wanted to visit the prairie-dog city? Why spend all that time wondering what the heck those mumbling musicians are saying? The 'Scuse Me While I Kiss This Guy 2002 Calendar, based on author Gavin Edward's popular book series, which includes 'Scuse Me While I Kiss This Guy, He's Got The Whole World In His Pants, When A Man Loves A Walnut, and Deck The Halls With Buddy Holly, and including new entries as well, is here to help. This day-to-day calendar clarifies musical misconceptions by presenting readers with a misheard lyric, the singer and song title, and then the correct lyric. Many entries are accompanied by clever illustrations and singers' birthdays as well, making this calendar an entirely entertaining - and melodious - way to get through the year.
Reviews
There are a few things that make getting the lyrics wrong great or interesting. The first is if the mis-interpretation is plausible, the second is that the wrong lyric makes some since in context to the song, the third is that it is funny. The title is a great example of a great and hilarious misunderstood lyric. You can imagine Jimmie stopping in the middle of the song and layin' one on his bass player.Unfortunately, everything else in the calender is terrible. The wrong lyrics provided are nonsense. So unless you think nonsense is interesting or funny, go by Jimmie Hendrix Greatest hits instead. The only person laughing is the guy who wrote this crap. He got me. I bought it.
